Domain Bookings

Hiring the Mangawhai Domain

The Mangawhai Domain hall, Downstairs Clubroom and Commercial Kitchen are available for hire either on a regular or casual basis.

We endeavour to keep the cost of hiring our community run and owned facility minimal to encourage as much use as possible.  We ask that you tidy up after yourself and leave the facility as you found it.

The Domain is a non profit community organisation and all funds raised through hireage goes towards maintenance of this valuable community facility.

The costs are;

$15.00 per hour Domain Hall
$10.00 per hour Commercial Kitchen
$20.00 per hour Hall and Kitchen
$10.00 per hour Downstairs Meeting Room
When the grounds are used for commercial use, a fee will be negotiated with the committee.

A private function $250 with a $500 bond 

(sorry we do not allow 21sts)

Any commercial use of the Domain Grounds 
(charging for services at the Domain) must be booked in, again to ensure there is no clash with other activities or users of the Domain.

10 x Trestle Tables - 210cm x 90cm
6 x small Tables - 76cm x 119cm

Please note:
Mangawhai Hire - hire out Tablecloths, Chair Covers & Bows as well as Crockery & Plates.
Caterers bring their own equipment.

Also please note that any use of the Domain for any kind of group booking needs to be done via the Booking Officer to ensure there is no clash with booked private ceremonies.

A lovely area down by the river is now able to be used for private ceremonies (ie weddings etc ) and it is recommended to book in so that the area can be signposted for a private function during the booked times, allowing you to decorate and prepare etc.
