Hire / Bookings

The Mangawhai Domain grounds and facilities are available for hire for private events and organised group activities on a regular or casual basis.

Amenities include; hall, commercial kitchen, ground floor meeting/club room, covered deck, fields, field fitness area, changing rooms accessible toilets, access ramp.

The Domain is a non-profit, community owned organisation, and all funds raised through hire fees goes towards operating, improving and maintaining this community facility.


Rates of Hire

  • $22.00 +gst/hour for Hall only
  • $15.00+gst/hour Commercial Kitchen
  • $27.00+gst/hour Hall and Kitchen
  • $15.00+gst/hour Ground floor Meeting Room
  • $50-$250+gst field hire (community sports/commercial use)
  • $10+gst per session Field Fitness Area
  • $17+gst/hour Hall Hire regular community group
  • $254+gst Hall Hire day (8 hours)
  • Event hire includes a $200 refundable bond

 

The grounds are booked/used by different field sports clubs for training and competition.

Any use by organised groups of the grounds must be booked , to allow us to coordinate with regular users avoiding a clash.

The hall set up for a wedding:

A lovely area down by the river is now able to be used for private ceremonies. If you wish to use this area for a private ceremony, please check with the bookings administrator to make sure it’s not already booked.
